I'll just leave that table out there all winter and see what accumulates.
A small table sits in the middle of a backyard deck, accumulating snow. It looks to have about 40 cm on it now, and it's only mid December.

The Most Appealing Form of Americana For Me...

This selection of images features a football game at a local University. The participants are playing their hearts out. Appreciating little treasures really adds value to one's life. For example, I could try to purchase a ticket to a U of M football game, and if lucky pay $200 for a bleacher seat, drive hundreds of miles, pay for parking, hotel room, fuel there and back, not to mention the time spent and crowds...or take in a local game, arrive at halftime, get waived in for free by the ticket agent, sit in row 3 at the 40 yard line, and enjoy every bit of the intensity. I celebrate local talent, whether it be musicians, other artists, or even the local baker. Something to consider.

What Was, What Is

Meandering in the forest behind the homestead, I came across these mysterious manifestations reminiscent of The Blair Witch Project. I have a neighbor who is an artist, and I think she is the source of this unnerving mischief.

You mentioned snow. I live in Michigan, USA, in the middle of the Great Lakes. We 'enjoy' what is termed Lake Effect snow, meaning the moisture from the lakes create ideal conditions for heavy snow dumping inland. I saw this t-shirt in a store. The sales associate said they are soon to sell out.
A dark t-shirt is emblazoned with bright blue and while lettering stating (mocking the famous song): 'Let It Snow...somewhere else'.

Don't blame me. It's his slobber all over the window.
A large black spots on white German Shorthaired Pointer sits and stares out the window, intent on examining every detail. There is a lot of his slobber on the window, obscuring the clarity of the image. He really drools for birds and squirrels, though he is a rescue and not a hunter. He also has a heart of gold.
