CGMA Week 9-10

Lineal narrative level inspired by The Witcher 3.

I have mixed feelings for this one. I think it has some cool ideas but I repeated the mistakes from week 7.

I'll probably come back to this one and rework a lot of stuff to make it work.

CGMA Week 8

Platformer level with a dramatic scale.

I used the robot character as inspiration to make a level inspired by Toy Story. It was challenging to nail the scale but I really like how this one turned out.

This one was a lot of fun to make 😁

CGMA Week 7

Linear level with horror setting and focus on pacing.

This one ended up a bit rough. The level ended up too flat and linear and the way the objectives are plotted is a bit boring and doesn't make much sense in the narrative.

CGMA Week 5-6

2 weeks to make an Open World Hub level with a Sci-Fi setting 🤖

I tried having an interconnected base where players could get missions, travel to other areas and talk with NPCs about the world.

Pretty happy with this one 💪

CGMA week 4

Platformer level with "Floating Islands" Setting. For this one I tried using assets from the beginning and creating different sections with good visuals and themes.

I also tried to change the gameplay as the level progress even if it's a bit simple.

CGMA week 3

Semi-Linear level with a Jungle setting. I focused on having actual gameplay and narrative.

For this one I used the landscape tool to achieve a more organic feel given the setting.

There's still a lot to improve but I'm pretty happy with this one.

CGMA week 2. This time it's a linear level with an Egyptian setting. I focused on improving my presentation and I can already see some improventes (and things to improve)

Gameplay wise doesn't have that much interactivity, so I'll try to improve that for next time.

I'm currently doing the Level Design course from CGMA so I'm going to post some updates of my progress there (If I don't forget again)

Here are some screenshots and a walkthrough of Week 1's project. The goal was to make an asian-syle street with one enterable shop.
