I had read in Project 2025 that they want to apply an old legal theory that public unions are unconstitutional. It’s been defeated in the past but we have a stacked court now.

What I found curious was how many commenters said that he was having an “obvious” mental health crisis when 90% of what he was saying was absolutely mainstream on the right.

Notable in this article: in his video, he claimed the standoff was in part due to abortion being legal in Maine, the Covid-19 vaccine, supposed protection of pedophiles, and illegal immigrants. Sure sounds familiar.

“The right people.” Reminds me of the quote from 2019 of a federal worker who was affected by the then-shutdown. “He’s not hurting the people he needs to be hurting.”

If one is not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, doesn’t that mean the US cannot impose any law upon them, lacking jurisdiction?

So for the attrition rate - the proposal is to triple the number of positions left unfilled after an employee leaves? And this includes the judicial branch that still hasn’t caught up since the pandemic?
