This is very bad news - the ABS won't be releasing its Survey of Income and Housing.

This is the survey that gives us the best detail on inequality of both wealth and income and it means we won't get one till 2027.

The last one was in 2019-20 so it's already 5 years out of date

Rachael Dwyer, Brad Fuller and James Humberstone ask can teachers trust AERO’s evidence? Maybe they could if trust meant more than compliance. But perhaps the bigger question is why doesn’t AERO trust teachers? loom.ly/y7a5wuA
AERO says educators can trust its evidence. Can they really?
What if AERO treated teachers not as technicians, but as thinking professionals in relationship with their students.

This project offers boys aged 12-15 the opportunity to share their thoughts and experiences directly, and to shape the strategies and responses that might support them.

The best education systems in the world are 100% public. When every kid goes to public school all parents, including the rich ones, want the public schools to be good. Oh, and its great for social cohesion.

But in Australia, we talk about being evidence based but ignore the evidence all the time
