Because, yeah if someone is unhappy with being a man I'm not shocked to find out that they...don't want to be one, and their pov on masculine expression will ofc be that it was worse for them, but to let that colour your view of all trans men is ridiculous bc most of us actually LIKE being men-

And find joy in it, and when that happens, you often see people use their masculinity in positive and uplifting ways for themselves and others, but ofc a lot of people ignore that bc it doesn't fit the "girls pressured to become men oh so tragic" narrative

2/2 I've decided to try and be out as a queer, trans writer as much as I can. Because young trans people NEED to see adult trans people. I need to be visible so that maybe, possibly, some trans kid can feel less alone and isolated. That is the only real reason I decided to try and be more open.
