I found an Etsy shop that makes magnets with “why is the floor wet, Todd?”and “I don’t know, Margot” on them. I got one for me and the other for my brother because this is something we text each other randomly all the time.

Aeropress is a good idea, so is a bialetti (Italian stove top espresso maker). Beanbox has good coffee subscriptions and Fellow has great travel mugs and other coffee paraphernalia. The actual equipment is expensive but the accessories are in your budget.

2/2 The books aren't well known, in fact, I found them in my church library. They're about a missionary kid in Kenya. The primary impact they had on me was to make me curious about other cultures. For this I am grateful. #Somethinggood

2/2 idea that corruption will always find unchecked power.” Is it absurd? Absolutely. Is the premise silly and unbelievable? Yes. But it’s supposed to be. Anyway, rest in peace Rob Reiner, you will be missed.

I had a friend in law school who was allergic to corn. I never knew how much corn (and corn starch) is in everything. She made her own powdered sugar to make frosting when she made cakes (also from scratch). It seemed exhausting.

Yep. Back when Texas enacted campus carry, I was a community college adjunct. A lot of my family thought I should get a gun too. I’ve never even gone hunting. I’m not gonna be able to shoot someone even in self defense.

I believe raccoons can do anything because I captured this photo this summer. This hummingbird feeder was at least 6 feet off the ground, attached to my window. The raccoon had climbed up the screen to get to it.

I have three kids. They start singing it in different keys and time signatures and it’s just delightful 🫠
