it took some vise grips but I finally got the motor out of the housing
had to delete a LED light board that I didn't need
this plastic housing is sus given it's see through on the front
doing crude measurements - looks like it's near 3/4 in / 20 mm magnets. FFbeast site says that might be 9-10nm

been watching DIY direct drive wheel videos for a few months now
seen a hoverboard on marketplace for $5 bucks that was only a couple miles away. Even if I do end up getting a consumer DD wheel down the road, I couldn't say no
