They expect - they NEED - the people they threaten to fall in line, like the law firms and universities and media companies and billionaires and Congress did. If you say “No, make me,” they simply do not have a Plan B. TRUMP DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH GUYS TO MAKE YOU.

A favorite part of the discussion with @gregsargent.bsky.social was when it became clear that in many ways it’s MAGA who are unassimilated with the basic norms of our society, whereas kids who are immigrants or the children of them are at school with all the other kids & it’s completely normal

Terror is essential to Miller's project. It's designed to dissuade us from showing solidarity with the immigrants getting removed. Stand in the way of ethnic cleansing and you risk violence yourself.
