Wage growth for those who didn’t change jobs was 3.8%, or just .8% after inflation. That basically is stagnant.

The inflation of a few years ago was crushing. And this just means people aren’t digging themselves out.

Just before the crash, you can hear the agents driving so fast that their tires squeal around many turns. One agent grabs spike strips while the driver asks to try a pit maneuver despite lacking certification.

This video was taken outside of the Broadview, Illinois, ICE detention facility on Sept. 19 during a protest. All of the smoke and grenades were for protesters who were challenging the Trump administration's deportation agenda.

Later in this same video, you can hear Bovino and another agent talk about how their gas masks didn't fit properly, so they effectively tear-gassed themselves.

Minutes later, this order led directly to protesters and press being tear-gassed by federal agents, including @statuscoupnews.bsky.social photojournalist Jon Farina. This body cam shows agents shoving two protesters down before helping them back up.

One organizer says Home Depot should change its slogan from “How doers get more done” to “How ICE meets its quota.”

This Home Depot has been repeatedly raided by DHS agents. Organizers point out the company has allowed these operations without doing the minimum to protect their customers like locking doors or releasing security video of arrests.

This follows the village repeatedly shrinking the hours and acceptable locations of protest outside the ICE facility.

Families of the abducted have frequently come to the aid tent because they are turned away when they try to approach the ICE facility to inquire where their loved ones even are.

The organizers were scrambling this evening to pack up the tent ahead of the Thursday deadline given by the village. They hope to relocate elsewhere, but don’t know where yet.

The village is citing its camping ordinance as reason. People had been staying overnight at the tent in part to ensure it is always staffed and also to prevent theft or vandalism.
