So I grabbed a Creality CR10S on Ebay for $90 shipped. It should have all the parts I need to get the big CR10-S5 up and going again. The most important component is the control box capable of driving a dual Z-axis drive…

Not long ago I sold my CR10-S5 3D printer.. a hobby grade printer with a 500x500x500mm build volume. This made me sad. So.. I bought a partially stripped one that I just started rebuilding. Join me for an epic 3D printing adventure! (Standard ‘Benchy’ for scale in red)

This would really cut down my commute (with a shortcut across the bay), but I hear the gas mileage on these is sub par.

Around this time every year, growing up in Maine, people would lock their doors and close their curtains, fearing another neighbor was coming by with the gift of zucchini from their garden.

Each time I join a new Twitter clone, I feel like I’m splitting off a piece of my soul and creating a horcrux. I hope I don’t have to go on a future quest to collect them.
