This was around the time when my (fairly right-wing) aunt disapproved of my exchange to Germany - because of the war.
The only thing approaching pro-Nazism I witnessed in my 1970s teens was a group of old men in Germany singing the wrong words to the anthem - to the horror of my hosts.
