I'm almost done with my Rhythm of War Reread and I forgot how much effort Sanderson puts in to make Venli unlikeable. Which imho really hurts the book as she has most flashback characters and even in the current day she doesn't really feel rootable in any way but she also isn't a fun villain

Rereading RoW before actually starting WoT because I needed a refresher and it's slow progress. Just read the first Moash interlude and I don't think Sanderson trusts his readers because that was really heavy handed 💀
