This is such a good idea. I hope it happens, esp given next year is the National Year of Reading. But also, there need to be libraries for those babies to go to. Increased library funding now! observer.co.uk/news/nationa...

This is devastating but hard to think of more important journalism. 18,457 children have been killed in Gaza (many more not accounted for). Here, The Guardian prints their names and beautiful faces and tells us what they were like before Israel stole their lives. www.theguardian.com/world/ng-int...

The podcast I started with my little lad has had 17 listens and 7 followers. Small numbers, but he’s over the moon and it’s given him confidence to continue 🩷

An actual quote from the Secretary of State for Business and Trade

Too often people go to university to ‘explore research and knowledge’

Look forward to Wes S saying 'too often people go to hospital to have operations' or Heidi Alexander saying 'too often people go to the station to catch a train'

Finished a book last night that made me cry, so be gentle with me today.

I’ll be talking about the book on our podcast this week, so look out for that! - Michael

Welll…it’s finally launched. I sound *terrible*, 😅🫣but I have one very excited and happy little boy that his history podcast is now out there for people to listen to. Grateful for any listeners. 🩷 in his own words, he wants to be like Greg Jenner and Horrible Histories.

Well. To remind myself every step of the way WHY I’m doing this again….i made bracelets. Each bead is a baby who’s family we’ve helped in the last year, with 5 extra beads - one for my boy and the other four for the babies we were in NICU with who’s mums are now my firm friends 🩷💙

The NERVES I have now 🫣 less than two weeks to go until I’m running the Great North Run again for Neoangels. We’re a small charity offering financial and emotional support, as well as community playgroup for neonatal graduates, for families of babies born sick or early.

Its barely two weeks away 🫣 but yes, I am running the Great North Run this year for the third time. And again I'm running for this amazing charity, providing financial and emotional support to families of babies born poorly or prematurely, like my own little hero born at 26 weeks in 2017.

Picked up a copy of Living North today - kind of surreal seeing my name in a magazine to be honest but it’s a lovely little article about the charity 🩷💙
