Happy #DarwinDay a reminder that we might not be celebrating Darwin without John Edmonstone (the formerly enslaved man who taught Darwin taxidermy in London and almost certainly told him about his natural history work in South America and maybe inspired him to go on HMS Beagle a few years later)

Hi!! I am really passionate about environmental sustainability and the conservation of aquatic organisms. I have primarily studied amphibians in the past, but I'm moving into the conservation of aquatic beetles and hemiptera. We know so little about them!
