I’m an indie game designer and student at UC Berkeley studying computer science (in my last semester!) I’ve got some game projects in the works, stay tuned!

Just went to my last class of my undergrad ever at UC Berkeley. It’s surreal. I remember how my first semester at community college felt. I learned so much in these 6.33 years, it’s insane. #goosebumps #graduation

Starting the day right with a cuppa mud and reading the #GodotSteam and #Steamworks documentation.

Burnt some midnight oil to get some sound effects in the game. Might just be placeholders but it helps to feel out what I'm going for. And also just cuz it's cool. (I know I gotta turn the zombie noises down) #indiedev #godot #gamedev #sfx

Damn my blueksky is hella dusty. I think there's a dead rat around here somewhere. Anyway, here's a more recent screenshot from my zombie game :)

I think people these days are more impatient when it comes to learning new skills or honing their craft because the internet lets you see other people's results all the time

Makes people feel like they aren't going fast enough instead of focusing on the process

Been busy the last two days with school work, and going to be busy for a few days more. So not much time for working on my zombie game and dev logs :(

I think I’m gonna try share at least one thing per day somewhere on the internet. Could be as small as a screenshot or as big as a dev log. Really more as a journal than anything. It will be neat to look back at previous states of my game later.

I had forgotten that I picked this book up a while back. It’s pretty interesting and it’s helping to make me more confident in post my stuff online. If the image isn’t loading, book is “show your work!” by Austin Kleon

working on this gave me the push I needed to start working in 3D. I don’t play 2D games so what business do I have to try and make one?
made a submission with my good friend @julian-pr.bsky.social for #PirateJam 16

its more of a concept than a full-fledged tutorial level, but I think it may have some legs. either way, I had a blast working on it and I learned a lot!

my friend Julian isn’t blasting his dev-logs on here, so I will!

this one shows some cool lighting effects + some absolutely insane mesh generation at the end

First post on bluesky! Sharing a progress pic of the zombie survival game I’m working on. This game is loosely inspired by Boxhead by Sean Cooper among other games. Hoping to finish it by this Summer! Finally getting around to making posts about my process. More to come! #boxhead #zombies #indiedev
