Don’t feel like you have to clear out all the side quests in an area. If you want to go back and level other jobs it can be nice to have lower level quests available, especially in towns besides where you started. And keep up with your job quests; they have vital abilities to unlock

One of my top 3 games this year. I think the combat is too good for the enemy variety and based on how great you are at games it’ll probably be boring for you. But the world building, story telling, and puzzles are excellent

I’ve got no problems with big studios winning for big games, but I agree. And I think this can put the “Kojima wins because he’s Geoff’s friend” bs to rest. I may hate DS2, but it didn’t even win the 2 I thought it deserved (direction and audio design)

I love this game so much and wish they’d make a sequel with more emphasis on the action gameplay. I’m a fan of QTEs and love them here, but the parts where you have more control of Asura could have been way more fun

It’s not going to make my top ten, but I’m happy to see it make a big impact. Between it and Baldur’s Gate 3 taking so many awards in 2023 I’m hoping it shows bigger studios that people still love turn-based RPGs
