I am BEGGING game devs to allow players to access ALL the options before staring a game. I can’t tell you how many games I’ve played lately that makes you select certain options before starting, but as soon as I get control I have to pause to set my camera and stick sensitivity

That’s a great point. I’ve also seen people end up stuck in one lane because they blew up covering one specific game so that becomes their entire professional identity

I often find it funny how much scrutiny people from the “game journalism” (hate that term) get about stuff like this, but YouTubers and streamers rarely do. I trust Jeff Gerstmann to get a tour like this and feel nothing. A streamer though? Just effusive praise without a care

Dude, same. But I feel like I was having issues prior to that (controllers lasting around 2 hours). I have 2 of the second gens (the pink and purple ones) and a more recent one (metallic green). The green one seems fine, but last night one of the older ones was done in an hour

I urge you to take a second look at Hell is Us (or first if you skipped it). I played it for almost 5 hours straight last night because it just kept getting deeper and more interesting. Like Control, I get unreasonably excited when I find a new piece of lore. There’s a demo available!
