The new Tories had used an election slogan. Rejecting anything that could have meaning or lead to any accountability they went with: ‘Change is possible’.

What they didn’t say was they meant change for the even worse.

I've read it. It's chilling. Starmer presented a principle-less, robotic, character-free bot. The aim was the total destruction of the left & they did it. Not once in the entire book is there any mention of aims or values - just power. Also one line in it reveals McSweeney to be a long standing GC.

This morning I used the women’s loo at a big London railway station - just as I have when I needed to for 17 years.

I used the toilet, washed my hands, checked my hair and left.

Past the male cleaner who had been working away in there the whole time.
