Lovely conkers on an #EastSussex lane, including doubles and triples! When I was growing up in a seaside town, the local park had a couple of horse chestnut trees and the scary big boys always got to the best conkers first. These would have been unimaginable riches 🌱

What a remarkable novel - As the Women Lay Dreaming by Donald S Murray (seen here with sleeping cat). I had never heard of the 1919 Iolaire shipwreck.
