An illustration from a few years ago, when I was in my ‘put moons on everything’ phase- which I'm completely over with and not fighting myself about every time I paint 👍

Illustration of a veiled woman with a crown, standing beneath a glowing moon, surrounded by stars. Her veil flows like mist, blending into the night sky. She is light herself, lit from within.

In honor of Edgar Allan Poe's 176th deathday, here are a few of my recent pieces inspired by Poe's works 🫀
Illustration by Abigail Larson depicting a scene from Edgar Allan Poe's poem "Annabel Lee". Two lovers embrace at the edge of the sea, water splashes around them and the surrounding rocks. A full moon shines over them, and storm clouds loom.
Published in "Sticker Jigsaw: The Edgar Allan Poe Collection" 2024 Macmillan illustration by Abigail Larson of a raven perched on a skull with a teal curtain backdrop illustration by Abigail Larson depicting a scene from Poe's "The Pit and the Pendulum" showing a man restrained as a pendulum blade swings close to him. Rats have swarmed around him, chewing the ropes that hold him down. This illustration is featured in "Sticker Jigsaw: The Edgar Allan Poe Collection" for Macmillan Books. Illustration by Abigail Larson for Macmillan's "Edgar Allan Poe Sticker Jigsaw" book. The illustration is a scene from Edgar Allan Poe's poem, "The Raven". The narrator is at the center of the image looking up at at raven perched above an open doorway. Behind the narrator is a tall window with red curtains, and the ghost of Lenore lurks nearby. A black cat is watching the scene from the lower right corner.

I'm Elhyana, french fantasy illustrator, available for work

I also work on my little book project "Tales of the Knights" on my free time

In the city of Noshtraad, Alyshia, a knight in shiny armor, is walking away from the bakery, her helmet full of pastries, and a big smile on her face In the middle of the forest at dusk, Alyshia and Elhyana are fighting furiously. Alyshia, shield up, is blocking a very strong attack, boosted by magic from Elhyana In a crowded market in a little town, Arthur is looking at a merchant's product, oblivious to what Elhyana is doing walking past him and stealing one of his map in a very slick way Standing in the middle of the street, Elhyana is holding a wanted poster she just ripped from the town board, she looks pissed at the rendition of her face

thanks for hosting, Davis!

you can call me either D. or Torres
I'm an illustrator and I love medieval fantasy, whimsical creatures and dark fairy tales
a dryad, her head blooming with twigs and branches in the middle of a dark forest. a red squirrel knight, with body armor and a cape, holding a lance in one hand and standing on its hind legs, with a golden halo aroung its upper torso and head. the beast (from beauty and the beast), appearing in the middle of a dense rose-bush foliage, gently holding a tiny bird in its huge paws and looking at it with tenderness. the castle tower can be seen in the distance. an elf knight, riding a stag and holding an ornate wooden shield in the middle of a dark forest

An older drawing, but still very much applicable to right now. 💩
Drawing of an opossum biting a fat oily snake that says “f*ck fossil fuels” - snake is a symbol of Northern American indigenous mythology, particularly prophesied by the Lakota, about pipelines desecrating sacred sites and poisoning the earth.
