In Busy Bee and the Endangered Meadow a clever bee discovers that the meadow in which she lives is due to be built over. It's a race against time to find a solution. This is the 1st illustration where Busy Bee finds the sign at the entrance.

I'm currently working on the second volume of what will hopefully be a series. The first one is called Professor Phew and His Very Special Cat. It's for the 7-11 year old reader and is available through Amazon. Even the professor doesn't know about Mara's special powers.

We've lost decades because of the fossil fuel and car making industries greed and don't forget Dieselgate. Now we have to make up for lost time and it's far more than just replacing ICEs with EVs like for like. It's about changing the way we live, work, travel and consume.

What's not to worry about? Nothing, in relation to the climate, worry about everything. It's time to wake up. Just look at the places where the temperature is high. Image and link courtesy of The Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S). www.copernicus.eu/en/media/ima...

Reality, over 100 applicants for a technician post, some MSc level, 600 applying for a council admin post, AI & robotics coming & still politicians speak BS, b*ll*cks & fantasy numbers of jobs that they'll create on our journey to Nirvana. Ain't going to happen. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Scrubsy stole my job. Give a robot cleaner face and name and everything's fine. But what of the cleaners and their jobs that it stole? What opportunities await them apart from unemployment? Crystal meth dealer, crypto trader, property developer? Humans arriving on boats are not the problem.

The current level and speed of climate change is down to humans. It's that simple.
October 30, 2025 at 12:09 PM
I'm putting together a chart to show how human activity and our 200 years of technology is responsible for the increase in the planet warming CO2 gas. What else could it be climate change deniers? Some data is still being sourced.

In my book, A Brief Moment of Time, I argue that it is time to fence in humans and not nature. While it is necessary to reconnect with nature we also need to get out of a lot of it. We could start by only allowing scientists and their support crews into Antarctica. www.amazon.co.uk/Brief-Moment...

100s of 1000s perhaps a million people+ have been affected by flooding in Pakistan. This doesn't happen in 1st world countries, mainly responsible for the CO2 emissions that cause these extreme weather events. Credit: European Union, Copernicus Sentinel-2. www.copernicus.eu/en/media/ima...

The Planning and Infrastructure bill is great for developers but deadly for nature. We need to protest against it.
July 3, 2025 at 5:34 PM
If you don't know what the Planning and Infrastructure Bill is then it's time to find out. It's a disaster for the UK in terms of our environment. You can help by campaigning for nature.

Show your stripes day, showyourstripes.info Be worried, it is going to get a lot worse and the only solution is to drastically reduce fossil fuel use right now.

Just had to change the CO monitor. Some of us are lucky enough to have them to protect ourselves and our families. There are no monitors warning us of the everyday increase in levels of CO2. While it may not kill us as individuals as CO could, it has the potential to kill us in our millions.

I have only read a few chapters of Scientists on Survival so far, as I have been distracted with other reading material. but it's great. If you haven't got a copy yet it is well worth buying. Become an activist whether you are a scientist or not.
