“When the wind changes directions, there are those who build walls and those who build windmills.”
I think the POINT is that the perps haven’t even been publicly named. You can’t even talk about shaming if they aren’t known.

We don’t have a free market. We have a market of monopolies that has routed $50 trillion to the top 10% and left only $5 trillion in the hands of the bottom 50%. No one should become comfortable with one man having $500 billion when ordinary working Americans can’t pay for shelter & groceries.

I checked with Missouri department of health and there is no statutory requirement for a prescription but they told me all the chain pharmacies are requiring one for CYA. So one more step in what was previously pretty much a walk-in process.

This whole interview is just one more reason to stop watching ABC. Radditz is what passes for serious journalism in the MSM these days.

They aren’t reviewing all of them - only those of brown and black people and people whose names aren’t European.

I’m a boomer and it just astonishes me how blind many of my age-mates are to the realities of the U.S. economy for younger people. It’s NOTHING like it was for us.

I believe according to most real estate orgs, the average age in 1980 was about 27 or 29 (can’t remember exactly, but it it pretty much nailed when we bought our first home). It has been increasing steadily since. I’m sure you could google a chart. Median age for of all purchases has risen too.

And the fact that the average age for first time home ownership is now 38 because housing is unaffordable too.

What we hear them say to convince each other is “it’s now or never.” They believe in what they are doing - every last one of them - and they don’t expect to ever lose power again.

Why is Nashville doing it on July 19? Everything I have seen about national organization is July 17. (I actually think the 19th is a better idea, but I’m just saying what I have seen.)

Biden also increased subsidies on the ACA and the number of people eligible for them and that will all go away now.

The better to hold political rallies there.

I was attacked by three unleashed dogs while walking my dad’s little dog. My dad’s dog was killed. I NEVER go out without pepper spray now and believe me, I will put it right in your GD dog’s face when I spray to make sure I don’t miss. Never again.

Howard Lutnick: arguably the stupidest member of a Cabinet in which that is a pretty low bar.

I just think it’s important to be honest about the trade-offs. As I said, it works well for some, but it IS costlier for taxpayers and many people find they don’t like and have trouble getting back on regular Medicare. You are taking some risk.
June 2, 2025 at 2:43 AM
No, the government (taxpayers) are picking up the extra cost to the tune of $83 billion per year.
