This is a wonderful book, I first started the Audible version, but when I listened to the poetic high-quality prose I bought the Kindle version as well, I am now reading while using the Audible Companion, it's like being at a brilliant lecture. I will never see the natural World the same way again

Only halfway through, but it's fascinating, it's not a religious book, more a treatise of the human condition of mystical states & what they are, I never read a book quite like it before. It's written in very polysyllabic dense text which has me thankful for the kindle dictionary,but I'm loving it

I have always used them. With the subs, I find the media more immersive. The problem with modern productions is that they prioritize the atmospheric music and effects over the dialogue, making it harder to hear.
I wish they would add subs as standard for the cinema, I know some do, but not my local.
