The petition for Rodney Taylor, a disabled double amputee being held in an ICE camp, is over 3300 signatures!

Rodney has been in the US since he was 2 years old.

He was days away from receiving new prosthetic legs when ICE grabbed him.

He’s in solitary confinement & facing deportation to Liberia

I've been struggling so much w/food & losing too much weight. So I actually bought gf bagels from a shop in NYC & had them shipped. I'm actually in tears right now. This is the closest to "normal" food as I've had in a long time. Thank you Modern Bread & Bagel. #disability #Gastroparesis #Lupus

I'm a big fan of glitter, little pieces of femme love. Not to mention, Carrie Fisher was a fan of glitter. I think this is a win all around.

I may be completely misunderstanding the Blacksky thing. I totally understand Blacksky & the Black community having their own space. What I'm confused about are the posts about the white adjacent blacksky. Not sure how to say this delicately, but why would I want to be part of a white only space?

I haven't been able to see a doctor or any of my specialists in 5yrs. That's also 5yrs with no meds. There's even less likely chance now. There is no support system, no village. No safety net. This is it.

1. In a devastating new Pew Research Survey, only 3 in 10 transgender adults report being accepted by their parents.

And only 1 in 10 say they are accepted by their extended family.

This is the lowest number ever found in surveys asking similar questions.

Honestly, now that you mention it, modern surf culture could absolutely have changed. It was mostly tongue in cheek, but growing up in CA, the surfers I knew were either hippies or burn it all down & start again! I'm looking forward to your images, you do beautiful work.

If you're willing to throw anyone under the bus, you are no better than the regime. Cis/het ppl get ALL their rights at birth. They don't have to negotiate. They don't have to decide if they should fight for their marriage, or having kids; they even have rights around their deaths. Fuck your "hill."

Yeah, I really like Wire, and I understand the need for ads, but for one, they're taking over & I'm seeing more ads than articles and, two, they're all presented as endorsements, which feels extra skeevy.

the US & the world, so why are we so focused on his looks, his weight, his hair? There's plenty of ways to joke & break up the tension. Trust me, I understand the need for humor.
