After living in Japan, I decided the measure of a true food-obsessed culture is not “how high is your ceiling” but “how low is your floor.” In Canada we have really great food and really terrible food. Japan does not tolerate terrible food anywhere, at any price point.

My mom was adding a deck to her house but is bad at visualizing. So I mocked up her house in The Sims 4 and we tried out ideas. She was blown away, she even printed off a screenshot to show the contractor what she wanted. (And now she absolutely loves her new deck, by the way.)
