they/he. Babylon Podject host, player on Dubious Creature Productions, relatively NSFW, and absolute delight/terror (depends on the day and the crowd). Bouncing between sci-fi, wrestling, and RPGs.
Working on this setting doc and sometimes it's fun to just have a Kindred who must have been The Worst

14. The Bright Ages, by Matthew Gabriele and David M. Perry

An overview of the Middle Ages that does a fantastic job of offering viewpoints that are beyond the "usual" sources we see. A great read, and further whetting my appetite for more medieval history.

11. Xenos, by Dan Abnett
12. Malleus, by Dan Abnett
13. Hereticus, by Dan Abnett

What if James Bond was a centuries-old psychic warrior who was haunted by Blofeld in a psychosexual relationship that transcended time? It's a surprisingly great series, and are a delightful popcorn read.

10. The Silmarillion, by JRR Tolkein

There are parts of this that are frankly a war crime to try to read in a way that certain parts of the Bible are utterly dreadful to attempt to read. But also, when it's good, it's great.

9. Department of Truth

Not a series I've finished since it's ongoing, but it takes a trope I generally dislike (reality by consensus) and twists it into a conspiracy horror thriller that is a gross portrait of modern media.
