Alfalfa hadn't been around for a week but she came back last night looking a bit worse for wear. Still having trouble with her hind leg and the tail needs grooming.
But she brought a friend this time who I hope will continue looking out for her.

A Christmas Critter Story:
Twas 2 nights before Christmas when the world's dimmest #coyote came into the yard where the world's luckiest #bunny was grazing. Coyote trotted around the fence to the park. Bunny when sure Coyote was gone, disappeared. Coyote came back and went to McDonalds for dinner.

Electric water bowl keeps the water warm, but it evaporates a bit overnight so little #Squirrel-1 has to stretch to reach a morning drink.
Notice #Squirrel-2 in the tree at back left. Are they waiting for their chance at the bowl?

Wildlife tracking! I'm reposting things I made this past year. If you look closely at the deer tracks you'll see I added the hint that they're double registering (hind foot is stepping into the same spot as front foot).

I think mice are cute as long as they stay out of my house. I wonder if this little guy was after a drink of water. 🐁
I have been recording the critters in our yard for 4 or 5 years. This is only the 3rd mouse that has shown up on the videos.

It's been a few weeks since the raccoons have shown up. But ALFALFA the #Skunk has been coming by every night at least once for a drink of water from the heated bowl.
