“What exactly does Trump mean when he says in a joint presser with Benji that we will own Gaza? We are buying Gaza? From Israel?! How does it get unexplainably worse everyday?” He yelled into the void.

I knew 2.0 was going to be worse than 1.0. I tried to prep for the blow but, I’ve gotta be honest: this shit sucks. I felt really overwhelmed today. The constant flow of shit policy after shit policy w/o time to process the earlier heaping of shit has been brutal all while trying to calm clients.

Can we talk about this tik tok university movement? Free classes taught by scholars, widely accessible & self paced allowing for a wider net of students & the kicker, profs will get paid more from tik tok than in their adjunct positions at world class schools. Mutual aid in practice is beautiful.

A farm worker sent us this pic from where they are harvesting carrots in Santa Maria. It's hard difficult work. We're on our knees most of the time on the cold damp soil. In addition, I don't live near the field and I have to drive an hour to work. #WeFeedYou

I can’t tell you how many times this past week my clients asked if they should send their children to school. People who have suffered persecution in their home countries and fled to the U.S. to seek safety now have to contemplate whether or not to send their children to school in the U.S., smdh.

This is not the first time that #Colombia suspended US deportation flights, protesting the mistreatment of people being returned. It happened in May 2023: www.migracioncolombia.gov.co/noticias/can...

🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 Trump's DHS just invoked a never-before-used authority which permits the federal government to deputize any state or local law enforcement officer to have the same powers as an ICE or Border Patrol agent.

Turned 35 this week. 90% of my law practice is lo-bono removal defense out out of Seattle EOIR. The phone calls and questions I fielded from clients this week amidst the EOs were heavy. Blew out some candles today and held my kids tight. Love on each other folks, it’s gonna be a long road ahead. 🤟🏾✊🏾.

I think it’s interesting that astronomers specializing in black holes have failed to notice the black holes that are USCIS mailrooms (or the BIA mailroom). Feels like it would be much more efficient to study them at this proximity - it’d also help solve where our missing fees went.

“I’ve hiked over 2,000 miles of [migrant] trails. Most of my guys are certified trackers; we know how to read the ground, age tracks, and know if something’s old or new. We know how many people are traveling together and if they are carrying heavy packs on their backs.” Hunting. That’s what they do.
