GT just lost their entire offensive coaching staff and best QB. UVA is losing 40+ seniors. Stanford fired their coach and is also Stanford. Pitt should be solid. ODU is losing their QB. VMI is VMI.
If Tech can find success on the road, 9-3 or 10-2 isn't out of the realm of possibilities.

Virginia Tech will be in full alignment with this staff with every piece being able to more than pull their weight on the recruiting trail.
It's clear, VT is going to bring in A LOT of talent and then attempt to bully the rest of the ACC. We'll see if it works.

While yes big splash hires that make you feel all warm and fuzzy are great, they also don't work out on occasion. And, those big splash hires (Jim Knowles from OSU, and Kotelnicki from Kansas) led to Franklin getting fired.
