A latitude wedge base is essential to operate in equatorial mode.

Jupiter and Venus were visible this morning. Despite the clarity of the sky, a fast mounting of the Seestar S50 allowed four of Jupiter's satellites to be seen. It's not the best photo, but...

🧪🌊 After a few days of lower atmospheric temperatures, sea surface temperatures appear to be approaching seasonal norms. Temperature normalization seems to be evolving from north to south. Hopefully, it will continue this way for a while.

Omega Nebula M17 at 5000-6000 light-years from us. It is 15 light-years in diameter approx. Its local geometry is similar to that of the Orion Nebula, except that it is viewed edge-on rather than face-on (Wikipedia)

Look the recent publication of most of the people working on MHW last 10 years
Finally they see the evidence
Look this presentation to get original references prior to this reconsideration

Certainly we have had a 2025 extremely warming in the western Mediterranean. But not always with Marine Heatwaves. 🧵
June 26, 2025 at 2:03 PM
This is the same point as using a fixed baseline. This method do not separate long-term warning from sudden increase of temperature. This is similar to your plot 🧵

Here, the evolution of MHW using the detrended method in one point of Mallorca. We are in MHW state now, but not during all 2025 🧵

🧪🌊Detrending should be applied in warming seas to obtain a good characterisation of marine heatwaves.

Recently, high atmospheric #temperatures have caused a concerning rise in sea surface temperatures in the north-western #Mediterranean Sea. 🌊🧪
June 18, 2025 at 4:37 AM
This year is providing high sea surface temperature values for the North Western Mediterranean. This has been usual since 2022 but it seems that 2025 is having worst of 2023 and 2024. I hope that the huge increase in the second half of May 2022 will not be repeated this year. #SST #Mediterranean 🧪🌊

2 hours of 10 sec. images in EQ mode of #M51 using Seestar S50. A spiral galaxy with clearly defined arms that wrap around the core. It interacts with #NGC5195. This smaller galaxy has passed through M51, disturbing its spiral arms.

I need more expositions to reduce noise.

T Coronae Borealis (T CrB) is a recurrent nova. Its last outburst was in 1946. One is expected in 2025 or 2026 and nova state will last for some days.
@t-crb-tracker.bsky.social account is devoted to monitor its state. An early X-ray flash has been predicted by

There is a former publication. A small abstract of the Proceedings of the American Phys. Soc. Publkshed in Phys. Rev. in 1934 (vol 45, page 138), where Baade and Zwicky even introduce the concept of neutron star. 🧪
