I'm still salty the NFL ignored a blatant pick play.

In my mind, Patrick Surtain II still hasn't allowed a touchdown this year as this was clearly a Vegas TD.

Bo Nix with a big boy pass chart against the Commanders.

Love to see how effective he was attacking the middle of the field.

The Broncos escape Washington after a tight one against the Commies.

What can we glean from an ugly win over Dan Quinn's Commanders?

Presenting the Good, the Bad, & the Elway:

R.J. Harvey had 11 carries for 30 yards (2.7 YPC) & a long of 7 against the Chiefs.

Jaleel McLaughlin had 6 carries for 19 yards (3.2) & a TD, with a long of 5.

38 rushing yards on 14 carries (2.7 YPC) tonight.

Broncos miss J.K. Dobbins, who was averaging about yard over expectation per carry

Let me be clear, I'll take the good plays Bo Nix brings to the table for the occasional misfire like that Bobby Wagner pick, especially if he's consistently carrying the offense as he's had to tonight.

That touchdown to Courtland Sutton can't be taught.

This play is a textbook example of how pressure impacts Bo Nix. He rushes his process, locks in and can go blind to parts of the field.

The Washington Commanders are the 31st ranked defense in the league by EPA/P.

They're the worst(!) pass D & the 25th best rush D.

Opposing QBs are completing 67.99% of their passes against them.

46.74% of all O plays are successful.

Bo Nix & the Broncos should torch them.

The Commanders utilize man coverage on about 35% of their defensive snaps, and they're among the worst teams in football when they play man (& almost all) coverage

0.374 EPA/P in man, NFL average is 0.048.

They are very good in Cover 6, which Bo Nix has struggle against.

C.J. Stroud has an opportunity to make a real statement in the Texans game against the declining Colts today

With Patrick Surtain II back in the fold, the Broncos have the best shot at winning the top spot in the AFC and homefield advantage throughout the playoffs.

The road to the Super Bowl will run through Denver.

The Colts, Broncos, and Patriots are all battling for the top spot in the AFC and home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Even before we learned Daniel Jones is trying to play with a fracture, things were trending 🙃 for Indy 👇

Fun fact:

With wins at Washington (3-8) and Las Vegas (2-9) over the next two weeks, the Broncos will reclaim first place entering the season's final quarter, regardless of what the Patriots or any other team does in the meantime

They just need to take care of their business.

With the Broncos Defensive front locked up, got to hope this is the off-season George Paton finally uses meaningful draft resources on an offensive tackle.

Denver hasn't drafted one since Garett Bolles in 2017. He will be 34 in May.

Mike McGlinchey will be 31 in January.
November 26, 2025 at 8:50 PM
With Malcolm Roach is extended through 2027, the Broncos DL is set for 2026:

Zach Allen: locked up through 2029
D.J. Jones: locked up through '27
Eyioma Uwazurike: locked up through '26
Sai'vion Jones: locked up through '28
Nik Bonitto: locked up through '29
Jonathon Cooper: locked up through '28
November 26, 2025 at 8:49 PM
Broncos prioritize Malcolm Roach for less than what Franklin-Myers will command. Roach more of a run clogger and true interior stuffer than pass rusher. 5.5 sacks in career.

Wow this late game window is... Weak.

Good time to go throw for Milo. ✌️

Sean Payton gives Bo Nix one of the most expansive playbooks in the NFL, & a play caller who has won with vertical games & mobile QBs like young Drew Brees, Taysom Hill & distributors like Teddy Bridgewater & old Drew Brees.

It's reasonable for Broncos Country to be optimistic.
November 17, 2025 at 1:53 PM
According to @aaronschatz.com's DVOA simulations the Broncos have a 98% to make the playoffs.
November 17, 2025 at 2:52 AM
Weird, they didn't call a facemask.

It's wild that the officials can spot Riley Moss with contact, but miss Thornton pushing off.
November 16, 2025 at 11:42 PM
Patrick Mahomes has been pressured at the 2nd-lowest rate (25.7) in the NFL

Mahomes has a 39.4 comp pct under pressure (3rd-lowest).

Will Broncos heat him up with Jonathan Cooper playing hurt, & Jonah Ellis out?

Need to to give the offense a chance.

When Payton drafted Bo Nix & made the playoffs last year, Denver argued the Broncos out-smarted the NFL Draft process.

27 games into his career... it sure looks like Nix is exactly what @natetice.bsky.social & @qbklass.bsky.social s.bsky.social expected 👇

Is Bo Nix ready to elevate his play and take the Broncos on a Dark Horse Super Bowl ride? 🐴
November 13, 2025 at 11:31 PM
Chiefs have 10 players w/ 200+ yards from scrimmage:

Kelce remains their leading receiver bc Rice missed 6 of 9 games.

Worthy, Brown, & Thornton give them vertical threats, Smith-Schuster eats on crossers.

Smith is the forgotten receiving back with five first downs & a 68.4% success rate.
November 13, 2025 at 5:02 PM
The Broncos would be wise to run the ball against the Chiefs, who've struggled to stop it.

They'll miss J.K. Dobbins, he had a 53.6% success rate across 153 attempts for 772 yards 37 first downs & 4 TDs this year.

R.J. Harvey has a 34% success rate on his 50 rushing attempts.
