Yesterday I was told that the class I’m scheduled to teach this month, Confronting Oppression & Injustice, is no longer part of our curriculum. This is a required class yet there was no discussion, no faculty vote, just an email saying the class no longer exists. This is what it’s like in Texas now.

If people feel safe taking their kids to trick or treat on Halloween (idk how that’s going to go)… I imagine it could be a natural time to talk about neighbors’ new jobs. Spread the word, in person, no need to create lists or publicly dox. Be safe about it.

Too many people were silent/complicit for WAY too long.

It’s one of the reasons I’m SO frustrated we’re still, in 2025, listening to the advice of the ‘never trumpers’ who stayed silent *just* long enough to find new jobs post 2016 election.

T-minus 24 days and we’re kicking off the weekend in Passaic with so many of our friends in labor!

I’m beyond grateful to have the support of so many of New Jersey’s union workers, and I’m going to fight like hell to make sure their voices are heard loud and clear in Trenton.

My first thought was “wow I hope this guy didn’t give out his name because he could absolutely be charged” and yup, he is correct to stay anonymous.

This man’s account is shocking. His neighbors’ situation is shocking. The entire Chicago raid is shocking.

On the other side was a mom and her 7-year-old daughter, pleading for his help.
"I wasn't planning on letting her stay, but I didn't know what the hell was going on," the man said of his Venezuelan migrant neighbors. But he quickly relented. The little girl was inconsolable and hid under his bed.
"I didn't want them to take her," said the man, who didn't want to be named because he fears he'll be targeted by federal authorities for his actions.
"I gave her my bedroom, and I just told her,
'Just stay there. Don't open, don't, shh, just stay quiet," he recalled telling the mom and daughter as he choked back tears.

3 of the 12 Coast Guard C-27s were in the air today (0000-0000 UTC, Friday 10 October 2025).

2 were participating in ethnic cleansing for ICE.

The USCG is part of DHS, run by Kristy Noem. She uses these planes daily to transport ICE abductees.
