Hurricane Gabrielle has strengthened into a Category 3 major hurricane. While it poses no direct threat to the U.S. mainland, dangerous rip currents are expected along portions of the East Coast. As the storm tracks east of Bermuda, the island may also see periods of rain and gusty winds today.

I was invited to go on a tour of the NOAA plane hangar at LAL. This was such an amazing experience and I am so grateful that I was able to do this. I was starstruck the entire time! We were also allowed to go INSIDE of Kermit!
