phantom hourglass used to be my favorite zelda game (i admit, it was mostly because of the nostalgia factor from it being the first zelda game i ever played) but i maintain that it is one of the most underrated games in the series and it deserves at least as much hype as spirit tracks

look. i tried. i even liked a lot of the touch screen stuff! i generally like nintendo indulging in their own console gimmicks. but between RNG bullshit for 100%, a terrible final boss, and a worse ending, i think this has ended up as the worst zelda for me

i liked skyward sword a lot less on my second replay (mostly because of the awful controls) but the story and aesthetics are sooo beautiful and make it worth it imo
Finally got around to finishing the Skyward Sword HD remake and, speaking as someone who's played every single Zelda game except Zelda II, I can honestly say this is the first time I've finished a Zelda game and gone "I never want to play this again."
