I first got to Gridania a couple winters ago during Starlight, met these two pretty much straight-away. And even though the deer came with me after that, couldn't ride him until after I joined the Maelstrom and got trained on chocobos first...

Then after ShB, in memory of Hythlodaeus and Emet-Selch, she was supposed to always wear an Amaurotine Ring on her left hand... except those did NOT work for all jobs. So. Yeah. ))

(( I've had Zeph mention her "rock bottom" which she will never go into detail about, but it was late in ShB while she was going back to the Source so no one would notice she was drinking WAY too much to cope. Except people *there* did, and there was an intervention. Which eventually led to... ))

...Whoever that one person is who keeps havin' their retainer's prices undercut mine by 1 gil. Multiple items I sell, too, not just one. It's like they're stalkin' my retainer and intentionally craftin' the same stuff just to cut into my profits.
