No, I've only seen snow once in about 20 years. The last time, I was visiting my Mom and we had that kind of storm that just leaves a blanket of snow on everything. It's magical as long as you don't have to drive or work. I loved it. 💟

Don’t be fooled. There’s a lot of pumpkin pies being posted made with ready-made crust and canned pumpkin pie filling. My pear cake, on the other hand is completely from scratch!

I'm thinking about rewiring the lamps. I made a lamp in the 4th grade out of a wine bottle and a kit, I think I may do the same. Found this on Amazon France. Seems pretty straightforward.

Screw bread proof function! I was so disappointed, it didn't rise or even break on the score line like it usually does (right) so I cut it open because it felt light and I thought it might have an amazing open crumb ... not so much.🙄 Tastes great but no joy. Don't fix things that aren't broken. 🤷♂️

I saw video of King Charles being shouted out over Andrew/Epstein during a walkabout and it's probably been relentless. He's just trying to deflect, get the press off his back, better the family's public image and to be fair, what else can he do. Like everything though, it's too late/too little. 🤷♂️

No recipe but I’m happy with my white bean, edamame and orzo minestrone soup. I splurged on the bake at home bread because sometimes, laziness is King!

My first instinct was to make some fake, vegan bacon, egg and cheese sandwich thing for breakfast and then I thought, fake... nah. I need real goodness for my mini hangover and I found it. It's definitely nap time. 💟

I need to find the definite books on raised bed gardening and canning. I’m going to make my French homestead as self sufficient as possible. How much do you think a greenhouse costs? And I want a rain harvesting system and ooh, ooh— composting. I want all the glamour! 😉

So driving home from my vaccine appointment and this car somehow flipped perfectly onto its side and this guy was climbing out of the now, top. Very lucky young man.

So I had no idea that a 750ml Sapphire Gin would cost almost $30 bucks and worse, I had no idea how much sugar is in tonic water. I bought these two with lower sugar. Could be a disaster but we shall see. The Elderflower sounds nice. Mom and I loved gin, hopefully, I'll be happy drunk! It's 50/50 🤷♂️

Last year, today, my Mom died. She had a long/painful illness, it's all I've thought about this past year. Today, I'm boxing that up and remembering our years of laughter, happiness, love and acceptance. My parents had a real love affair that I was jealous of at times. I hope they're together. ❤️
