I want to crawl back into my mother’s little green VW, riding along the Neckar River, with the defeat of the Nazis and a somewhat successful civil rights movement in the rear view mirror. Heading towards a future where the end of Apartheit, reunification, and world peace are possible.

Road thoughts: equity, inclusion, development… all imply some form of assimilation to standards, and a system that ultimately leads to total destruction. There is no win in capitalism. In a world where the well-being of life comes first, neither equity, inclusion, nor development are needed.

No one needs to repent or atone to be worthy of love, yet, this is a regular lesson parents teach their kids. This reinforces the social imaginary that supports capitalist goals. Supporting the desire to live, learn, flourish, connect on the other hand supports liberation.
