Got to hope that this sort of thing will help swing transfers our way. With the greatest respect to Bloomfield, his name doesn’t carry the same weight as JW’s & whether it’s experienced pros wanting to continue development or young prospects cutting their teeth, that hopefully means something.

I know it’s better to forgive and forget but by god am I enjoying this Rob Edwards terror run.
December 27, 2025 at 5:49 PM
I keep saying it but this kid is the medium to (hopefully) long term future of our club.

A culture setter on and off the pitch and I wouldn’t be against him being given the armband next summer.

6/11 starters today were u23s. We’ve got a talented young core and Gideon is the leader of that core.
December 26, 2025 at 9:49 PM
Rumours starting we’re in for Elding.

Given that he was linked to Juve & Brugge in the summer, I’d be shocked if this happens but my word would it be a statement of intent.

Big and strong but with good feet, can score all sorts of goals & drops deep to link play. Everything we need.
One of a few in the Irish league I was hoping we’d take a look at. Fast, strong and can ping them from 20+ yards off either foot.

Not sure he’s Juve quality but it seems like the secret is out and we’ll stand no chance.

I’d be shocked if he doesn’t get a move before September.
Italian giants @juventusfc.bsky.social are among those monitoring Sligo Rovers striker Owen Elding! 🇮🇹

The 19-year-old, who has scored 8 league goals for Rovers this season, has a long list of clubs interested in signing him! 🤳

Just two years from being linked to South American wonderkids, seeing some of the rumors and fan suggestions of who we should be approaching this window is depressing. Beyond someone like a Webster from Burton, not seeing anything realistic or anything that would move the needle on the pitch.

Seeing Yates and Wells described as the 25/26 Shaw and Fleetwood.

Depressingly accurate.

Is this too much to ask for come Boxing Day?
December 14, 2025 at 4:40 AM
Jack got the step up and shape all wrong today. Going with a 442 with four CBs on at home against the bottom league club is so poor.

That said, the players have once again been pathetic, cowardly and weak and deserve the boos to rain down on them come full time.
December 13, 2025 at 4:50 PM
Trying to view this positively but four CBs at home to Port Vale…

Vale are playing better than their record suggests but this is a horribly negative starting XI.

Alli & Bramall don’t work together for me either as they both attack the same zone.

Uhhh. Let’s hope I’m wrong.

The 21yo gets us out of jail again
Bloody useless, the lot of them.

This is really pulling me into the camp of the whole club being rotten to the core and in need of a massive, massive shake up.

Tonight’s performance has been cowardly to a man.

I do not get this formation or what we’re trying to achieve with it.

That Nordas second goal was a proper poacher’s instinct.

I’m still of the mind that he needs to show more out of possession for JW but let’s hope he can do that because he gets goals.
December 3, 2025 at 4:01 PM
Very, very good 45 min. Hard to tell the level given that this is very much Exeter’s B team (as it’s ours), but Nordas, Alli and Nelson all making a statement. Loving Nelson a little deeper too.

Walters looks lively again. Johnson looks like he’s been in the gym for the last 10 months.
That’s a youthful team. Seven of the eleven are 23 and under.

He scores when he wants, he scores when he wants, Amazon Prime’s biggest customer, he scores when he wants.
Granted it’s the pizza paint cup but Nordas has been more involved in the opening 10 min of this game than Yates was in 95min on Saturday.

Speaks very well and seems like the right sort of character for Luton. Has been a breath of fresh air since coming into the side.

Would love to see him in the defensive center mid role to give Sav a break.

Having watched it back, we were a lot better than the general discourse had me believe. Save for the opening 10min to each half, we were the team in control and limited them to not very much. That said, the lack of creativity once again meant that the in-game control lead to very little actual…
If you can’t win, don’t lose.

Couldn’t watch the game as I’m stuck up a mountain for Thanksgiving weekend. Will watch it back tomorrow but it sounds like we were poor but found a way not to lose and that is at least something.

Sound / look familiar, Hatters? 😂

Blackpool, Forest Green and now Bolton.

Kodua is scoring some big goals and really taking responsibility beyond his 21 years.

A few of the senior pros could take a look at this kid and step their game up.

Thierry Henry talking about exactly this on Paramount’s Champions League coverage.

Seems like it’s not just a third tier issue.
Big talk out here in the US of QB footwork. Someone needs to help Mengi out with his footwork when jockeying back in that RCB position as he’s always all over the place. Body shape twisted and unable to shift weight to react to the attacker. A real mess.
November 25, 2025 at 10:42 PM
We earned that. Not pretty but we showed guts to hold on.

More importantly, the first win of the league season where we’ve conceded. Going on to get the win after being pegged back is an important psychological marker.

Let’s please, please, please build on this!
That is Luton Town football. Hustle, bustle and effort!
