I like to experiment with how I photograph my quilts. Usually the outside ones have some lighting challenges, but this one turned out perfect.

Here’s a photo of my hexi-quilt before it was quilted.

Quilt with a white background and hexagons which are placed on it. The colors go from red/pink to blues to greens to browns and greys. Some spaces purposefully have a hexagon missing to give interest and flow to the design.

I feel as though there should be a law that says if Pierre Poilievre gets defenestrated as CPC leader in January then he has to move to Battle River—Crowfoot and live there until the next election because I think this would teach everyone involved an invaluable lesson about shenanigans.

One of the first quilts I made, I was 18 or 19 when I made this, and that’s when my love of quilts began.
Quilt hung outside on a railing. Quilt is made of equilateral triangles stacked in groups of 9 to make larger triangles of each color. Larger triangles are matched with a triangle of the same color, except darker. This gives an effect of movement, or that the triangles are reflecting off of each other.

Colorful triangles are the pattern of this quilt. The bottom left has more concentrated blue colors, and the top right has more greens. They meet in the middle with a wonderful chaos of colors with purples, yellows, and pinks. Quilt is hung on the wall using a Quilt Hanger which makes it look like framed art. This is hung in my office.
