One of the first quilts I made, I was 18 or 19 when I made this, and that’s when my love of quilts began.
Quilt hung outside on a railing. Quilt is made of equilateral triangles stacked in groups of 9 to make larger triangles of each color. Larger triangles are matched with a triangle of the same color, except darker. This gives an effect of movement, or that the triangles are reflecting off of each other.

Quilt is draped over a wooden fence. Quilt is an Amish design, using only solid colored fabrics. Scrappy four-patch squares are set in a nine-patch design with the background in different shades of purple. Although there is lots of purples, it is balanced out with browns and blues.

Colorful triangles are the pattern of this quilt. The bottom left has more concentrated blue colors, and the top right has more greens. They meet in the middle with a wonderful chaos of colors with purples, yellows, and pinks. Quilt is hung on the wall using a Quilt Hanger which makes it look like framed art. This is hung in my office.
