ICE using tear gas and tackling protestors is also political violence. The death penalty is also political violence. Sending bombs to countries committing genocide is also political violence. The fact that the state is doing it doesn’t make it not violent, and makes it obviously political.

Charlie Kirk said I should be stoned because I’m gay. He said it proudly and publicly. If you believe that is practicing politics the right way, then you are sending me a very clear message about how much my right to life is part of your political worldview.
