Wanted to mention, this is not my own pattern. Someone else made the pattern and I just downloaded it and bought the supplies (and stitched it, of course). The pattern is Good Omens Stained Glass by Darcy Lindberg. Google should find it for you. 😁

Finished The Six Wives of Henry VIII just a moment ago.
💚💚💚💚
Very thorough, a lot of information. Surely got exactly what I wanted: more info on the 6 wives before seeing the musical about them. A bit too long though. And most of it is already forgotten. 😂

I've been stitching this for exactly one whole year now. Initially thought I'd finish it in about a year, now I predict I'll finish it by summer.
Good Omens (📖 & 📺) is very dear to me and the one thing that I won't abandon, even after learning the ugly truth about NG.

Finished Parable of the Sower yesterday.

Scary, well-written, thought-provoking, good narrator. There was much wisdom in Earthseed, but why did it have to be another religion? And, from my European POV, the "normalcy" of owning and using guns (even in a dystopia) felt wrong and alien.

Still on these two, but I needed some fiction AND an audio book that has slightly shorter chapters, so will add this one to my current reads.

My first books of 2025.

One to get background information before seeing Six the Musical in March.

Another to get tips for mending, a topic that I posted about earlier.

Both good examples of how my interests intertwine.

Will not share all, but here's a final one. My favourite soft stretch jeans were actually beyond repair, so I used my (now adult) child's old childhood stretchy trousers (two pairs) to make them into a skirt. Pink/peach front and blue back.

Will probably share future projects here.

These are just frayed cuffs I mended. Also the hem on this one should be mended, as it has started to fray as well.

This is the one project (so far) I'm most proud of. When these jeans were fairly new, I fell and I got a huge rip on the knee. The jeans were broken and unused for years. Then I got this brilliant idea how to mend them and a couple of years later I actually realised the idea. I also shortened them.
