Didn't do much posting the last couple days. Thursday was a very lazy, do nothing day, so no Adventuring other than a quick trip out for dinner. Wednesday, though, was a good day.

Last year I thought Rivian's waypoint network was awesome. This year, not so much. Don't mind paying for charge, but by these stations are in less trafficked locations... locations with less than stellar cell signal. Why do I have to use an their app to start charge over the Internet?

I'm rather impressed with bsky. I logged into FB yesterday to respond to the annual deluge of birthday wishes, but since I was only in there a few minutes and here the rest of the day, I didn't see the Miss Congeniality(?) 25 April screencap at all all day. Does it not exist here? Not complaining

Mission Accomplished! No sarcasm, in-person license renewal at Concord, NC DMV was downright pleasant. Genuinely enjoyed talking with the lady helping me. She seemed to really enjoy her job, not just put on a face
...but I'm glad I don't have to do it again for another 16 years

It's always such a weird feeling to be scrolling along and a sentence, sentiment, photo, whatever comes along that makes you think, "Hey, they [think, say, have, took a picture] like my post I made yesterday" before realizing it's your own post coming up in the feed
When certain topics are too much, remember, you can mute individual words. Mute too many and your Discover only shows 1 to 3 posts, but whatever
But, what to do when the world as whole is still too much...recognize that we're racing to the end of the world, buy a new toy, and enjoy the ride

On FB, I'd estimate I had about 2 friend/page/group to 6 or 7 Ad/Suggested posts. Here on bsky, I've achieved about the same ratio in my Discover feed. Except, instead of real vs garbage posts like there, here they're Followed vs random cat and dog (oddly, mostly corgi but not complaining) posts
