Green Party member.
Defo agree. I think Ellie Chowns always strikes a good balance of saying 'we welcome ___', but we'd like it to go further or be tweaked here, or whatever.
When Labour do something which is just completely opposed to what we want, ofc say so, but I defo think some can be more pragmatic at times.

I also think, a recognition of the good things that happen, and the reality of the Labour government, actually helps to make genuine criticisms where necessary.
Otherwise you just appear opportunistic and playing politics.

Agree. As a Green member, I am disappointed in some things Labour have done , as basically everyone inevitably will be, but it's nowhere near the Tories or Reform.
They were and would be much much worse.

Absolutely. Need more people like Rosena Allin-Khan in government and less like Steve Reed

Tbf, reading my comment back, I could've defo been clearer, lol

I don't think it's gonna happen.
My point is effectively saying that.
It would be utterly stupid to do so, so it makes no sense.
I'm aware it's almost certainly a nonsense story.

Great to see you sharing this. I'm about to listen. I hadn't seen Mothin was on, so thanks for sharing.
I've just listened to Ellie Chowns on Parliament Matters on my commute today.
Would be great to share as it's a great pod.

Sacking Wes Streeting would be a terrible idea.
Why on earth would Starmer kick his main leadership rival out of the cabinet.
Especially now, it's basically asking him to challenge him for leadership.
