It’s been pretty disappointing that IP theft hasn’t been a bigger concern. “AI” (none of them are actually artificial intelligence) is basically just another way to say “plagiarism machine”

Kudos to Mike Johnson for always being willing to go back to the “I have no idea what’s happening” well

I like the one who is both not speaking to the parent but also not boycotting Thanksgiving. “You’re a piece of shit, and I’m not talking to you, and I’m going to rub that in your face while I eat your food.”

Democratic Party leadership is, if anything, anti-pragmatic.

Unless we’re talking about getting cash from wealthy donors.

Assuming you’re talking about the US Democratic Party, I don’t think the term “pragmatic” applies, at the very least in the last decade or so. They’ve lost 2 of 3 Pres elections to Trump, lost the SC, lost abortion rights, lost on basically every issue, and have gained in no tangible way.

Hell, I’d have been happy with anything approaching “good”. Clinton, Biden, Harris — Dem leadership is constantly going, “Why are you holding out for perfect when we’re giving you utter shit?”
November 30, 2025 at 12:28 AM
Dems spent 4 years doing nothing of real consequence about climate & Harris had no plans to change. She did a 180 on M4A. Palestine, if anything, is better under Trump. (Still terrible.) His plan for forced relocation is awful, but at least better than extermination endorsed by Biden/Harris. 🤷
