It's getting faster to make levels, but I won't make Halloween. I hate stalling projects, but life has picked up a lot recently and I can't juggle Delia's development.
I did manage to learn a fair bit of Godot's basics, at least! Hopefully I can come back to this rather soon.

Got all the features in for the Godot port of Delia: The Traveling Witch. Time to make these levels and bring this little gameboy game to Steam!

Making Delia's fishing minigame in Godot went smoothly! This completes all the features for the game, and I can finally start making the actual levels.

Getting the intro of Delia: The Traveling Witch put together in Godot. Starting to feel real, but I've got a few more days of making features before I can start making levels.

Porting Delia: The Traveling Witch from Gameboy to Godot so I can do a proper Steam build.
It took me 2 days just to get Bao walking back and forth. Hoping for a release by Halloween, but it's feeling unlikely.

The game I've been working on for the last few years is out! It's an action narrative roguelite where you can deflect everything and pet frogs.

Delia: The Traveling Witch is an Action Platformer with lots of talking NPC's and locations to jump around in.

This game is being built over the course of 12+ weeks. It is being built within GBStudio by Tea Witch Games. Music by @humanthomas

Years ago I made a Gameboy game called Delia: The Traveling Witch. I'm going to update it, with plans on a (free) Steam release, and a sequel! There will be testing on the Tea Witch Games Discord soon.

I'm a queer Taiwanese-American indie game dev currently making Rogue Labyrinth - a roguelite where you deflect projectiles and enemies. There's a lot of characters and narrative, with a story centered on resisting a rich guy making a game out of colonizing a peaceful country.
It'll be out this year!

I'm hesitant to really get into it because a lot of it also affects people who left wanting to escape it all, and me saying everything I know and experienced can betray that.
There was a LOT wrong with Pixel Sprout's pay, leadership, and values, to a staggering, pretty much comical degree.

I had the title "Senior Technical Artist" at Pixel Sprout Studios. I animated a lot of assets, as well as made the customization system for clothing and races in Sun Haven.
I worked for Pixel Sprout for years and left before 1.0 for many reasons. I am not credited.

I'm an #indiedev working on @RogueLabyrinth - a Narrative Action Roguelite. I have a demo out now!
It has lots of characters, #pixelart, and the ability to hit everything. Most of all: its themes are anti-capitalism and anti-colonialism.

I really wish I could teach gamers that they THINK they want a huge open world but what they REALLY want is a well designed AREA of a city, culture, and NPCs.
Open worlds with 100 empty streets and 100 acres of empty hills to run fetch quests will never compare.
