And theres's only so much instruction time, which has always been the case sure, but when the proficiency floor and ceiling are so wide, you lose half the class one way or another no matter what you do basically. It's not a fun situation at all

I was in HE until 2022, and I was already starting to see it based on how some students handled zoom pretty well, and others. Well. Yes. I can only imagine how it's...shifted with the genAI and chatbots atm though. That...is not something I envy for sure
