Swirling and floating,
the falling leaf does not cry.
It accepts the change.

I took photos of multiple antique vehicles several months ago, and finally used one to create this piece. The rustic, abandoned beauty being embraced and draped by Mother Nature is the theme.

Foraged Beautyberries to make jelly with my granddaughter.

Audacious of hue
are Beautyberries in fall.
How sweet the jelly.

Inspired by last nights #FullMoon.

The full moon delights.
Her reflection on water
brings joy at the sight.

So full and so bright,
how glorious the moon shines
this magical night.

Dark hair now turned white.
Remember a painted moon?
Love’s journey so right!

Crawling on my hand,
a little fly, orange of eye,
needs a place to land.

Like an ornament,
the web strung leaf in autumn
dangles in the breeze.

Latest wood burning. This piece took about a week to complete, and may still need a few tweaks, but I am happy with how my arm/hand worked after surgery. 😊

I recently had surgery on my right arm, my dominant hand, so I haven’t been able to do wood burning as usual. I have been working with watercolors though, and am loving using colors again. Woodburning can be dramatic and beautiful, but often limited to sepia tones. #ArtistonThreads

Latest watercolor added to a card. This scene is from my window that I am privileged to see everyday! Thank you Mother Nature!

One of my latest Victorian letters. They are decorated on both sides, so the design changes and interacts as it unfolds. Fun, challenging and creative.

He will go down in the history as the President who brought stability back from the brink...he left the office with a booming economy only to have it tanked by a Grifter and his ilk

Did you hear the word Tariffs from his administration 🤔

His focus was not about himself it was about America

Wanna see something cool?

At the Grammy's in 1976, Ella Fitzgerald and Mel Torme explained what jazz is.

The result? The crowd losing its mind. 🔥

New discovery. A click beetle, who flew into me while I was sitting outside. They make a clicking sound and play dead when startled, as this one is doing. They are not harmful to humans, but their larvae can harm crop roots. The googly eyes are the cutest! 👀

Wood burning of the guardian tree. Tree of Life. #trees

When I’m not doing wood burning, I’ve been exploring Victorian puzzle letters. They are a fun way to both create and to send encouraging messages. They fold up into a square which is easy to share, and they offer a challenge to the recipient to figure them out.
