My 2025 in books. If I had to choose a top 10, I starred them. This year I have gotten 3 library cards, discovered the benefits of audiobooks and I do not buy books from Amazon anymore.

Book 42 of 2025 was fine. Easy holiday themed romance. How does romance work with a ghost though? Like, how do you kiss a ghost? Haha. Also, my first book club experience came with this book so this will have a special place for me.

Book 38 of 2025 was underwhelming for me. The book wasn’t necessarily bad but I thought I would get more words than pictures. That’s on me. I thought I would get some stories but it’s a good tribute to Kobe and Gianna.

Book 37 of 2025 was okay. Portions of the book felt a little too preachy for me. There were also instances where the pacing was slow as well as being fast as fuck, struggling to keep up.

Book 36 of 2025 was my first dive into fan fiction. The slow burn of this romance was mildly annoying but the story made up for it. I’ll try some more “Dramione” in the future.

Book 33 of 2025 had me all the way fucked up in my head but I still liked it. CHECK YOUR TRIGGER WARNINGS BEFORE READING THIS!!! Probably not for everyone. My head hurt trying to keep track of the world building. I was peer pressured into reading this.

I went to my first book club yesterday. I was the only dude there and I was welcomed with open arms. I tried to not talk too much and fit in. I wish I would’ve spoken up more but my inner introvert is still very proud of myself.

I discovered that you can add multiple libraries to your Libby account. I had to go get a library card for the first time in 15-20 years since signing up online wasn’t an option. Whatever, public libraries are cool as fuck. Use them! Support them!
