OMG don’t get me started. Recent days of unrelenting high gusting winds, including four hours without power today.

Definitely to be appreciated.

In my region we actually have a recurring modular event labeled Doombient so everyone there is trying to reach in that direction but by and large these live performances don’t do nearly as well as Blakmoth does in his tracks. Of course, playing live is different.

I’m among those who tend to lean away from EDM. Being deep into modular synth this leaves me mostly hungry. “Doombient” seems to be exactly what I like best and frequently aim for. That he apparently coined, or at least popularized, the term years ago seems to his credit.

I’m enthusiastic. Listened to most, maybe all, of his singles that are on Google Music. Before that I listened to his new collab with Kristof Bathory on Cryochamber. I suspect I will be paying for access to everything he has on Bandcamp before the end of December.

I’m now convinced Blakmoth somehow never showed up for me before now, which seems to defy everything I know about Internet.

Blakmoth got mentioned earlier because he collaborated with Kristof Bathory on a new Cryochamber release. I like it.

Suddenly I’m puzzling over whether Casper the Friendly Ghost would find it difficult to sit in such chairs.

I’m puzzling over how many times Blakmoth might have come to my attention across the past decade. All I know is I didn’t pay enough attention and am rectifying that now.

Both the Cell cases and the Move cases had an early period where they required AC power and a later period where they take DC power (like most case power supplies.) I have one of each in the Cell line and only figured this out today. I also have an AC-requiring Pgh Move [104]. Stressful.

Thus I’ve solved last night’s failure of my Pittsburgh Modular Move [104], which I gave DC power to because the specs I found on the mfg site said DC, but I have the older midel requiring AC in. I hope I didn’t damage any modules.

This missing part is driving me crazy.

Their experience of cultural suppression and intolerance is at least a contributing factor in the formation and entrenchment of their ire. Not the main factor, yet one that’s mainly been dismissed.

Only eleven years for me. I’ve clung to almost everything I’ve tried over that duration, a rather different pattern.
